Local Agriculture Workgroup

By Educational Events

Please join us on Friday, June 18, at 5:30pm for the Local Agriculture Workgroup Meeting. We need to hear from the community about your conservation priorities and resource concerns on agricultural land!

Each year the U.S.D.A. Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) allocates funding to address priority resource concerns in our area. Your unique perspective drives which conservation priorities receive funds. Simply email or call us to register for this meeting.

Phone (303) 218 – 2622

This meeting is at CALF’s Lowell Ranch in the Agricultural Barn located at 2330 East Frontage Road, Castle Rock, CO 80104. Note that GPS takes one to the West Frontage Road but CALF is on the East Frontage Road.

2021 Youth Conservation Camp – POSTPONED TO 2022

By Educational Events

Camp is at CALF’s Historic Lowell Ranch in Castle Rock. This hands-on learning experience is for kids ages 7 – 14 years old. Kids get to play and learn outside with educators from our natural resource agencies, local scientists, and professionals from our Board of Supervisors. We strive to plant the seeds of stewardship to grow future conservationists. Bring a sack lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, sun hat, and closed-toe shoes for walking in the creek. Space is limited and registration is required.

This camp is free of charge.

CALF’s Lowell Ranch is at 2330 EAST Frontage Road, Castle Rock, CO 80104. Most GPS apps take one to the WEST Frontage Road, however CALF is on the EAST Frontage Road.

COVID precautions will be in place. Please send a mask in case we are inside. Register with Sign Up Genius here Sign Up Genius.
