Partial to full Sun. Well drained soil. Grows to 7’ x 6’. Native to Colorado. Yellow to orange spring blooms give way to berries in late summer. Prefers moderate moisture. Tolerates drought. Leaves turn reddish – purple in the fall. Deciduous. Avoid watering overhead. Edible berries. Prune in spring to encourage vigorous growth as needed. Spreads by suckers.
